Call
us today to give yourself or your family the Advantage over the competition. Advantage Tennis Academy is proud to be based at The Avenue Lawn Tennis & Squash Club, Havant. Our thanks go to all those who supported the Advantage Tennis Academy this past year. The programme has developed during the 2007 season and we intend to continue growing in 2008. Our aim is simple "to provide an excellent and exciting tennis programme accessible to all". The Academy is headed up by Roger and Tracy Manvell and
they are well supported by seven other fully qualified coaches. You have the benefit of two different opportunities to participate in our programme: the "Pay and Play" sessions and structured courses. Our programme has a strong developmental approach but also recognises the need for performance players.
LTA Membership and Ratings If you are an Avenue member, LTA British Tennis Membership is FREE! People who sigh up will get access to Wimbledon Club ballot, player ratings, regular communications from the LTA and opportunities to add on packages (including ACE magazine, Grand Slam Tours and Winbledon extras packages). Sign up by visiting http://www.lta.org.uk/Membership/ An LTA rating is essential for those players (adult and junior) wishing to compete in external competitions.
With the constant introduction of new events into the programme
good communication is vital. Activities and events will be promoted through
this web site, club newsletters, new quarterly Academy newsletters and
through e-mail. (Please remember to add your e-mail address on the next
booking form). We also provide a wide range of information, including
local tournaments from the pro shop. Henry Adams and
Partners are delighted to be associated with The Advantage
Tennis Academy and to have the pleasure of sponsoring junior tennis in
the local area. We hope that all participants benefit from the programme
of events being organised during the coming months and will welcome the
opportunity to improve their tennis skills whilst enjoying the social
and competitive side of the game.
